imagine Image
getting a call, or answering the knock on your door one evening and being told by an Alaska State Trooper or Law Enforcement Officer that a member of your family has been killed by a drunk driver!

Imagine Imageyourself attending your loved-one's funeral service and then leaving the service without them, knowing you have seen them for the last time!

imagine Image getting involved with a project that will send ripples all across Alaska and stir a groundswell of support to stop impaired drivers!

Join Us Image in the Throttle Thunder Motorcycle Relay Across Alaska, a memorial ride to raise money and honor loved ones who died or were injured at the hands of a drunk driver!!  You will be glad you did!

Our Goals
to help reduce the frequency of DUI crashes, eliminate underage drinking, assist victims of DUI crashes, and increase public awareness of the DUI problem we all face, every day.

WE HAVE A

WINNER!

The GRAND PRIZE

WINNER for the trip for

two to Hawaii is ticket

#1784160

Congratulations

to Sandy W. of

Anchorage who

had the

winning ticket!

The event grossed almost $40,000, with a few more contributions still to come in and pledges still to collect.    In-kind donations come close to an additional $10,000 and the host organizations contributions are incalculable, but huge!

When the final bills are paid and the final numbers are known, a contribution will be made to MADD.   We will also earmark money for the memorial we intend to build, money for the scholarship program, money for the Victim Impact book, and money for Alaska Law Enforcement to help in their fight against drunk driving.

We hope everyone had a great time!!

We would love to read your comments!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the success of Throttle Thunder Relay 2007; the Harley-Davidson host organizations; Alaska HOG Chapter members; biker participants; non-biker participants; business sponsors and donors; Alaska Law Enforcement; MADD; hotels and motels on the route; and the huge volunteer staff!

Is it any wonder we chose to make the first fundraiser a motorcycle event?

Thank you,

Royal & Nancy Bidwell
